Nell is doing very well and we have started ferreting a few weeks ago. She is very good at marking sets and always seems to know which hole the rabbits are going to bolt from. She is also an excellent all round hunter retrieving fur and feather live to hand.

I named him Mole (or Moley) as when I got him he looked just like a little Mole.

He was one of only 2 boys left and I think he was the smallest in the litter…..however since being home and not having to beat his brothers and sisters to the grub I think he will end up fairly big.  I chose him as he was most like his Mum. In the picture he is 15 weeks old.

Regards Jenny.

Breeze, (Ziggy is Dad & Cannie is Mum). She is definitely a character, she runs round the house like a headless chicken and play fights with our other tumbler.

My husband has had her out lamping and we do a lot of showing and racing.

I noticed that there are photos of Ziggy on the website so it would be nice to see Ziggy's daughter on there as well! All the best for 2007!

We have had her mated to Jiffy who is a flat backed racing whippet cross Britany spaniel back to the club's strain. Tinker is heavily in pup and is due to whelp on the 28th March 2008. She is meant to be having 7 - 8 or more pups according to scan she was 1 of 12.

Hi, I bought a puppy, a Picardy Shepherd x Brittany Spaniel x Whippet tumbler bloodline from the club in December 2007. Tilly is now 14 months old and is doing extremely well.  Her working ability is second to none and she has an excellent nose about her. She has been catching rabbits from about 7 months old. She is very obedient and has an excellent temperament.  Her jumping ability is outstanding, she will jump over a 6ft high wall as if it isn't even there! She stands at 24in high, her early pace is incredible and she has unbelieveable stamina. Here are a few photos of Furri(na), as you can see she is growing up quite nicely and her coat is suitable for our climate here in Finland.

Furri weighs about 32lbs. She is a very obedient and nice dog. She is also very eager to learn new things and not afraid of anything new popping up.

We had said no more dogs when our lovely Pheobe  had to be put down then 2yrs dogless laying in bed one morning, Dylan came into
our lives.

We took him on a barge holiday, he loves everyone and is great with other dogs. He comes back when called and he is pure entertainment, that's what my husband says about him! He has taken so many dogs into the undergrowth  and they have come out covered in mud, but Dylan's rough coat just doesn't seem to get dirty. I have had dogs all my life, I even brought one home from America because I couldn't leave it, but this one is an angel dog.

 best wishes Janette Shepherd

Hi Aunty Josie,

My name is Fly and I've just arrived at my new mummy and daddy's, Tony and Liz.  I am 6 weeks old and left my real mummy and brothers and sisters last night.

So far I've been really good, I haven't made a mess in my huge cage and I've been for lots of little strolls in the paddock on my lead.

I will send you some more pictures in a bit.

Lots of love

Fly x

This is Willow my second lurcher purchased on recommendation from Jeff (my first was Merlin whose mother was 'Freya' - pictured on the website)

Willow is out of Nick Harvey's 'Roma' and Dave Sleight's Greyhound 'Price Cut' (from one of the top Irish and Australian bloodlines being the son of ‘Top Honcho’).  'Roma' is out of 'Lynne' and 'Diss'.

Many thanks Lynne Lusby

Hi I have a lurcher off Jeff called Misty and a norfolk lurcher called Alfie which is from  Mick Douglas lines.

Anna

This is Archie, that we were lucky enough to acquire from the club in November 2007.

He really is the best dog in the world.  He has a fantastic character and is an unmissable part of our family.  He manages to charm every one he meets! He is 26" to the shoulder and a blue/brown colour with a slightly broken coat.

Very best wishes,

Marijke and Ross

Pip is out of Lynn crossed out to a non-pedigree racing whippet champion Vivs Quest. Any way proved to be a good dog and family pet. She does a little lamping but mainly ferreting. We have now added to the pack with the addition of a pedigree whippet from working lines. She is well, well-loved and enjoying working!

This is Rosie Bolt Lightning, our wonderful rough brindle lurcher. She's out of Floss and Rogue - she's only 22  inches which I think is small for this line, but there isn't a dog
around here that can stay with her when she goes for it - she runs so  close to the ground and turns like I've not seen in a dog before!

I think she looks like Ziggy, or her uncle Boyce. When we picked her up  she was 6 weeks old, our two children Cian and Jeni- May, had no idea they were getting her. She's now just turned 1
and she's the 5th member of the family, and lovely with the children.

She's having a lovely time up here in North Wales in the mountains and on the beaches. She's such a lovely dog, and so bright and so easy to
care for.

This is Bramble I got him via the club in December 2009 and his mum is Dinkie. He was born 26th October 2009.

The first photo on the gallery page is of Bramble soon after I got him home.  From the other photos you can see how much he has grown and changed in the past 3 years.  He is 22" at the shoulder which is just what Jeff said he would get.

Hi Josie, Alf is 23 weeks old and stands 22 inches high he weighs 19kg he is out of Bluebell and Steamer's son.

His photos don't do him justice he doesn't stay still long enough for me to take them. He is very intelligent, I couldn't believe it when we first got him he watched us open our back door once then the next thing we knew he was opening it himself. Ii blamed my husband for leaving the door open, but it was Alf. We watched him put his paw on the wall outside then knocked the handle down with his other!

Sunny is my daughter Talia's dog, she been training her and has now been able to get her to to a few hand only commands.

Sunny is very willing to learn and goes for a long run with three other older long dogs most mornings and they all play well together.

Puppy school been very good and has now progressed up to next level .The school uses Cesar Milan's way, yet has been in Existence since 1968!

Current training is learning to release play toy on command and drop out of play excitement to calm mindset .

Warm regards

Adrian Cole

See how much he looks like Martha Flowers, that is because our strain is
bred for type, rather than an inferior greyhound cross.
