A Norfolk type lurcher, who was Sqn's Mascot in September 1917 for the Leicestershire Regiment.
"A copy of these photographs were given to me by a very old man. He didn’t start the line, he and his brother came by them from either an Uncle or Father?

It shows a Norfolk type, who was Sqn's Mascot in September 1917, she is a Fawn Lurcher bitch and he told me she had just had pups in this picture. Unfortunately her name was not given on the source picture. She was bred in Kings Lyn, it is with the Leicestershire Regiment . I was told that the dog was acquired by the regiment when they were billeted in Diss, prior to going out to France." Jimmy Thompson.
